DasCoin Takes Summit to Spiritual Home of Cryptocurrency

DasCoin Tokyo Global Summit

Six months on from its blockchain launch in Switzerland, DasCoin is set to hit Tokyo on September 30th.

Earlier this year, the Japanese government legalized Bitcoin, recognizing it as an official currency alongside the yen. This forward-thinking attitude cements the sovereign island nation's reputation as the spiritual home of cryptocurrency technology.

The upcoming DasCoin event marks a number of milestones for the burgeoning digital currency, including the launch of its trading exchange and physical hardware wallet the Validator.

The launch of our cryptocurrency based exchange will be a very important milestone for the DasCoin project.

With 3,500 guests expected to attend, the DasCoin 2017 Global Summit takes place at Japan's largest conference center, the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, also known as Tokyo Big Sight. The venue is located in the Ariake Minami district of Tokyo's Waterfront City and enjoys spectacular views over the bay, as well as excellent transport links to the rest of the city.

Following DasCoin's Zurich blockchain launch and further events in Hong Kong, Warsaw, Poland and Vietnam, the Tokyo summit marks the launch of DasCoin's trading exchange, DasExchange. Also due to be unveiled is what's being hailed as a revolutionary piece of cryptocurrency hardware, known as "The Validator", and which is fundamental in accessing DasCoin's exchange facilities.

Summit attendees will be the first in the world to get their hands on the device which, alongside DasCoin's existing WebWallet application, is required to authenticate all transactions, both on and off the DasExchange.

A historic moment for DasCoin, those in attendance will witness first-hand as DasCoin trades for the very first time. "The launch of our cryptocurrency-based exchange will be a very important milestone for the DasCoin project," said Michael Mathias during a recent NetLeaders webcast. The event will also see a number of talks from highly prominent global cryptocurrency experts.

While in Tokyo for the event, attendees are encouraged to enjoy nearby sites and attractions. From Akihabara, Tokyo's technology and electronics district, to Asakusa and its Sensō-ji Buddhist temple, Tokyo is a wonderfully diverse and cultural city. Attendees may also wish to visit Ginza, Tokyo's largest luxury retail and entertainment district, or Harajuku, famed as the epicenter of Japan's youth culture and fashion scene. Alternatively, visitors to downtown Tokyo can take it all in from the public observation decks atop the 243-meter tall Metropolitan Government Building.

Tickets are available exclusively to existing DasCoin licensees. Standard tickets to the Global Summit cost €20 and grant full access to product training and networking activities. A small number of VIP tickets are also available.

VIPs are invited to celebrate alongside the founders of DasCoin during a gala dinner at the prestigious Hilton Tokyo Bay and will receive additional in-depth training the following day at the 5-star Hilton Odaiba.
